Renata Carloni: Italian Language Through Cinema
Professor Carloni is very enthusiastic about what she teaches. She loves cinema and talks slowly in Italian so that you can understand her perfectly. Her class is my favorite this semester, despite all the work. Yes, she loves giving homework but I have learned more Italian in this class than I have in the past two years. The films you watch are all great in their own ways and always have an interesting ending. Italian films are a lot different from American films, and I have learned a lot about the Italian culture through them.
Mara Simonti: Advanced Review of Modern Italian
Professor Simonti is the one of the nicest people you will ever meet. She is funny, talkative, patient, and can hold a conversation in Italian with even the most elementary learner. Simonti is laid back and cares more about teaching in class and making you practice Italian orally than giving assignments. Her lessons are always lively because she is regularly energized and ready to teach. She is one of those people who really loves their job and it translates into every lesson.
Raffaele Don Vito: Introduction to Marketing
Professor Don Vito is very organized and consistent in his lessons. You know what to expect in every class and he tried very hard to make lessons interactive. The workload is not overwhelming, perfect for students who are constantly traveling. He is good at explaining difficult concepts and is great at communicating though email. In fact, he has two of them and insists you email both when you need to reach out. Because his lessons are two hours and forty-five minutes, he gives a very generous twenty-minute break in the middle of every lesson. It makes the world of a difference!
