Hola *potential* Madridleños! I'm here to tell you the must know things of NYU Madrid!

Available Stern Classes

Introduction to Marketing
Great class and I loved the content. Professor Victor Magariño really knows what he's doing and is clearly passionate about marketing. He's worked in a variety of industries and positions, and is a great resource especially if you're interested in learning about digital marketing.

Foundations of Finance
I didn't personally take this course, but most Stern students did take it. I heard that the course was challenging, but most likely easier than if it were taken in New York.

Classes I took

Spanish (Mandatory Class)
All students are required to take some level of Spanish while studying at NYU Madrid. The great thing is they place you during orientation week into the proper class so that you are able to learn at a challenging, but manageable pace. The great thing about the Spanish classes, is that they tend to be very small (mine only had 10 people) and it's a great way to friends really quickly!

Politics of Climate Change
Interesting course, but I felt like it didn't focus on the political aspect as much as I had expected. Professor Francisco Seijo is very passionate and knowledgeable about the subject and truly cares about his students!

Cultures & Contexts (to satisfy our core requirements)
Good course that didn't have too much busy work. Professor Eugenio Suárez-Galbán is an incredible professor with incredible experiences. He cares deeply about his students and is a very intelligent and passionate speaker.

Concluding Thoughts...
Overall, NYU Madrid is a great option for Sternies looking to broaden their horizons. They will meet tons of people from different majors and will have the opportunity to explore a new language. The professors are incredibly passionate about their subjects and interested in getting to know their students.
