Hi, my name is Alice and I'm studying abroad at NYU Prague this semester! Being from NJ and having lived last year in NYC, I'm most excited to live in a completely different place and get accustomed to the very different Central/Eastern European culture and well as travel on the weekend with friends with is still a pretty new experience for me.
My name is Jordan and I am one of the London liaisons! I am a rising sophomore and am planning to study Finance and Management and Organizations. I'm from Lake Tahoe, Nevada although I grew up in Singapore and went to a boarding school so I've never lived there full time. I love staying active and my favorite hobbies are tennis and photography. I joined USWIB to find a community and to hear advice from upperclassmen and hope that my updates from London will help advise other students of opportunities abroad.
My name is Siri, and I am studying Finance and Creative Writing. I'll be in London this fall! London, like New York, has endless things to do. With every turn, there are new places to explore, each neighborhood with its own personality.
Hi! This semester, I’m studying abroad in Madrid, Spain! I’m a sophomore at Stern planning to concentrate in marketing and finance with a minor in Spanish. Long Island, NY is where I call home. I’m so excited to experience European culture for the first time and to improve my Spanish. And for fun I enjoy baking, food photography, and rock climbing.
Hi, my name is Nisha Honnaya and I am a sophomore studying Finance and Computing & Data Science! Some of my favorite things include elephants, bubble tea, and Indian dance. This semester I'll be studying abroad in Madrid, Spain and am most excited to explore new places and cuisines!
NYU Abu Dhabi
The Middle East isn't exactly the typical location one would think of to study abroad. Growing up in the US, I never really got the chance to truly experience this part of the world, and I'm really excited to get the chance to learn more about the customs and culture here in the UAE and its surrounding countries. NYU Abu Dhabi is also different from most of the other study away sites in that it's one of the portal campuses with its own group of full-time students that come from all over the world. I'm really excited to get to know and form relationships with my new peers, something that I wouldn't have gotten the opportunity to do in New York.
